Kinzang’s experience spans banking, corporate finance and general management.
Prior to founding BCS, he served for seven years in Druk Holding and Investments (the investment arm of the Royal Government of Bhutan with over 20 subsidiaries ranging from Energy, Airlines, Banking, Telecom to Service and Manufacturing) and was holding the position of Director of the Finance Department. Before that, Kinzang served as Chief Financial Officer of Druk Green Power Corporation, the only hydropower generation company in Bhutan with 1500 MW of installed capacity and over 3000 MW under construction.
Kinzang began his career as a graduate accountant in Australia where he worked with Northern and Far Western Regional Health Services, Department of Health Services, South Australia and Bond, Stuppos & Associates, Australia. Kinzang has also held various operational and management positions, and served as Board of Director in many companies such as Drukair Corporation Limited, Bank of Bhutan Limited, Penden Cement Authority Limited and Royal Insurance Corporation of Bhutan Limited. He also served as the technical member of the Accounting and Auditing Standards Board of Bhutan (AASBB).
Kinzang is a Certified Practicing Accountant from CPA Australia; holds a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of South Australia (2000-2001); and Bachelor of Commerce (Honors), Sherubtse College, University of New Delhi, India (1996-1999).
ugyen wangdi

Ugyen joined Bhutan Consultancy Services in June 2017 as a Managing Partner and lead consultant on finance and taxation. With over 17 years of professional experience in the field of taxation, he has been involved in the formulation and implementation of all of the current income tax regulations in effect in Bhutan.
Most recently, Ugyen held the position of Joint Collector with the Department of Revenue and Customs, Ministry of Finance. He was also the focal person for Bhutan on the SAARC Multilateral Agreement on Avoidance of Double taxation and part of the team that has negotiated Bhutan’s first two Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement with India and Bangladesh.
He holds a Bachelors of Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi (1997-2000); a PostGrad Certificate in Financial Management form the Royal Institute of Management, Bhutan (2001); and a Masters of Public Finance from the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies, Japan (2004-2005).
kalinca susin

Kalinca’s career started with SME’s development, logistics and commercial analysis. She headed TECON Rio Grande—Wilson Sons Group’s commercial office in South Brazil for three years. Prior to that, she coordinated the exports department of the major high-end Brazilian furniture exporter; and consulted for SEBRAExport Furniture, a Brazilian PPP to promote the country’s furniture industry.
Her interest in bridging different people and cultures flourished over the years in the International Trade field. Kalinca opted for grad school in Global Development and Social Studies taught in institutions at three different continents. She first experienced Bhutan in 2011/12, serving as an intern at GNHC and consultant to APIC. Bhutan’s unique development with values has been, since then, the catalyst for her studies, social-engagement projects, and professional life. Before joining BCS she was a lecturer at the Royal Thimphu College for two years (2016/17).
Kalinca holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business from the University of Caxias do Sul, Brazil and Middlesex University, UK (1997-2001); and an MA from the Global Studies Masters Programme, awarded by Albert Ludwigs Universitat Freiburg, Germany and FLACSO, Argentina (2010-2012).
phuntsho Yangden

Phuntsho joined Bhutan Consultancy Services in June 2015 as a main partner and consultant. She manages all client contracts and procurement, besides looking after the main administrative matters.
Prior to that, Phuntsho held the position of Project Manager at Lhojong Construction Private Limited (2005-2015). With excellent client and stakeholder management skills, she oversaw the execution of 4 major projects, from planning, budgeting and implementation. She held administrative and financial control of project sites.
Phuntsho holds a BA in Economics from Symbiosis College of Arts & Commerce, University of Pune, India (2001-2004).

Kinley joined Bhutan Consultancy Services in June 2015 as a consultant. She assists in managing client contracts and procurement and main administrative matters, besides overseeing general accounting and supervising accounting staff.
Kinley’s leadership and initiative led her to collaborate extensively at Lhojong Construction Private Limited (2005-2015) in on-site management and project implementation.
She is a technician in Physiotherapy – Royal Institute of Health and Sciences, Thimphu, Bhutan (1998-2000).

Chhimi’s core expertise is in financial analysis, accounting and tax related matters. She has worked on a number of projects mainly focusing on mines and minerals, construction and the insurance sector.
She holds a Bachelors Degree in Commerce from the Royal University of Bhutan.

Thinley works as a Marketing Analyst, as well as taking care of financial and accounting work. She has joined BCS in 2017. Before that, she worked at MHPA under the finance division in 2016.
She received B.Com with Major in Accounting from the Royal Thimphu College in the year of 2015.

Pemba works as an associate consultant in Bhutan Consultancy Services. He joined BCS in 2017. He started his professional career working as an engineer in Lhojong Construction Private Limited.
He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the College of Science of Technology, Royal University of Bhutan.
